Every Ascension is a transformation, not an upgrade. A hunched junk gremlin becomes an android, the android climbs into a power loader, then a chicken walker, a siege crab, a war knight, a knuckle-walking engine, a centipede, a walking skyscraper, a fortress, a city, and finally a machine with a star for a heart. Every attack you equip bolts a real, damage-type-colored weapon onto the model.
