Damage Types
Every attack deals one of three damage types, and every machine resists or is weak to them. Matching type to target is the difference between chip damage and a one-shot.
- Kinetic (punch, sidearm, sweep, flak): reliable; armored mil-spec/boss plating resists it.
- Energy (arc bolt, railgun): rogue appliances and toasters are weak to it.
- Corrosive (festering bolt): eats through organic-ish and quadruped bots.
The combat log tags each line WEAK (≥1.2× landing) or RESIST (≤0.8×) so you can see, live, what's actually working, then rewire toward it.
