Unlocked by scrapping Sir Loin. His forge survives him, and it is hungry: feed it three spare duplicates of the same part at the same rarity plus Components, wait out the heat, and it pours one copy a rarity higher with fresh affix rolls.

• One job at a time. Choosing what cooks overnight is the decision. Higher target tiers cost more and forge longer (a Based pour takes an hour; Unit and GOATED are overnight projects).
• Equipped parts never melt. Only spares in the stash count toward a pile.
• The heat strike: when the pour is ready, strike while the marker crosses the white-hot band for one bonus affix. Skipping the timing game costs nothing but the bragging.
• This is the reliable road to Based parts that wave drops cannot promise, and the ONLY road to Unit (Based ×3) and GOATED (Unit ×3). The power ceiling is the same tier multiplier loot already obeys.
